How To Restore Windows Update In Windows 7

I tin't run Windows Update, although I periodically see the icon in the system notification tray. When I endeavour from Control Panel, I get the post-obit message:[Window Title]

Go the System Update Readiness Tool (save it) and right-click on it and "Run as Administrator". Cull the correct one for you:
- All supported x86-based (32-bit) versions of Windows 7
- All supported x64-based (64-bit) versions of Windows 7
Allow it run/prepare things.
Reboot.
Try updating.
If it is even so failing, attempt this next:
Reset your Windows Update Components with this FixIt:
How do I reset Windows Update components?
Reboot.
Endeavor updating.
If it notwithstanding fails, effort this...
- Start an elevated control prompt.
- Run the post-obit commands striking enter after each line:
net stop wuauserv
cd %systemroot%
ren SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.former

You are running Windows 7? UAC enabled? (Default.)
Information technology is unusual, only no unheard of, not to have Run as Ambassador. It's non necessarily a bad thing, merely als not necessarily a good thing.
It doesn't stop you from trying the in a higher place - particularly if you are one that disabled UAC. Just run the in a higher place without the "Run equally Administrator" pick first.
If you did not disable UAC, then you may have other things to look at.

There is no "Run Equally Administrator" entry when I right-click.
Y'all are running Windows seven? UAC enabled? (Default.)Information technology is unusual, just no unheard of, not to have Run every bit Administrator. It's not necessarily a bad matter, only als not necessarily a good thing.
It doesn't stop you from trying the to a higher place - especially if you lot are i that disabled UAC. Just run the in a higher place without the "Run as Administrator" option first.
If you lot did not disable UAC, then you may take other things to look at.
I am running Windows vii UAC enabled. I have Run as Ambassador on other, I think, executable files. I don't call back it shows upwards on non-executable files.
I ran the file without Run as Administrator and the program stopped with an error:

Method 1:
You may endeavour performing SFC (Organization File Checker) scan on your computer and check if the result withal persists. To view how to perform the SFC Scan click on the link provided below and follow the Kb article steps.

Method 2:
Unregister and re-register Windows Installer following the steps mentioned below:
a) Click Outset, click Run, type MSIEXEC /UNREGISTER, and then click OK. Even if you do this correctly, it may look like nothing occurs.
b) Click Get-go, click Run, type MSIEXEC /REGSERVER, and then click OK. Fifty-fifty if yous do this correctly, information technology may look similar nothing occurs, or y'all may briefly encounter an hourglass. Subsequently you run this command, the operation is consummate.
Method 3:
Bank check if Windows installer service is started.
a) Click 'Start', type 'services.msc' and hit Enter.
b) Locate "Windows Installer" and cheque if the service is started.
c) If not 'Start' the service.

I didn't post anything new in the other question.
Yes, I tried everything in the electronic mail and and then far it didn't work *and* now the icon in the System Notification Bar is not showing upwardly. I still cannot update.

I will try the other methods, but when I tried to create a new account from Control Panel, I got this mistake messaage;
